The PsyPAG website is the main platform with which we as a committee communicate with the PsyPAG group members and affiliates. I can be contacted on commsofficer@psypag.co.uk
My main responsibilities are as follows:
- Maintaining the PsyPAG website (including the annual conference microsite), collecting feedback and ideas, adding new content, and generally making it a useful and usable resource for postgraduate psychology students.
- Maintaining the jiscmail mailing list that is available to those with any interest in psychological research at a postgraduate level. You can join here.
- Disseminating information regarding events and funding both on the website and jiscmail mailing list. If you’re involved in an event that you want publicised, drop me a line!
I’m studying for my PhD at the University of Plymouth, looking at the way accented speech is processed in both babies and adults. This allows me to fulfil a lifelong ambition to put electrodes on babies, and I’m also going to be doing a couple of adult fMRI studies. I have fairly broad reseach interests, having worked in a number of research positions before starting my PhD. I like to think that my current course of study combines these interests, making me a cognitive developmental neuro-psycholinguist, but that’s hard to say after a couple of drinks!
