Welsh Branch

Rhian Worth

The Welsh Branch involves psychologists and psychology students from across Wales. The Welsh Branch of the BPS hold regular events, for example, recently Graham Hitch gave a talk titled ‘Some recent developments in research on working memory’. There are also annual undergraduate student conferences, and scientific meetings. In addition, the branch also holds an exhibition at the Eisteddfod each year.

I’m a third year PhD student at Swansea University, and my research is looking at retrieval-induced forgetting (RIF). I am the student representative on the Welsh Branch Committee.

Having studied for my degree and masters in Wales, I’m looking forward to getting involved with PsyPag and representing psychology postgraduates in Wales.
