I’m Edward and I am the PsyPAG representative for the Special Group in Coaching Psychology.
I’m currently a student at Leeds University Business School, studying towards an MSc Organizational Psychology, my longer-term goal is to become a chartered occupational psychologist. Immediately prior to this I completed a one-year MSc Psychology (Conversion) at Leeds Beckett University and in the very dim-and-distant past studied PPE at Oxford University. Alongside my studies (and following completion of a coaching qualification at Ashridge Business School) I provide careers coaching to young professionals and guidance to companies looking to develop their own internal coaching and mentoring programmes.
My interest in psychology and coaching has arisen from a decade spent working in human resources where I have primarily been responsible for recruiting and developing emerging talent populations (graduates and school leavers). As a rapidly developing area of academic study and practice I am keen to help ensure that best practice in coaching is spread as widely as possible and that researchers are able to gain access to organisations in order to undertake their research.
I am looking forward to representing the views of all postgraduate students engaged in work relating to coaching psychology, so if you have any questions or views you would like to share please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or follow me @animaatman for updates relating to coaching and organizational psychology.
