Hello! I’m Emma, a current second year PhD Student at Northumbria University. I use a range of qualitative methods in my research looking at digital information seeking throughout pregnancy and early motherhood. My research has gained perspectives from both expectant/new mothers and healthcare professionals about ways in which technology could improve antenatal/postnatal healthcare.
Previous to starting my PhD I gained my BSc in Psychology at University of Sunderland and my MSc Health Psychology at Teesside University.
I look forward to representing the Qualitative Methods in Psychology section and if you have any questions or want to chat you can catch me at
