Joseph McCann

jmccannI am a part-time PhD student at the University of Cumbria. My research focuses on using pedagogical action research to improve the critical thinking skills of pre-tertiary education psychology students, thereby making their transition to Higher Education smoother.

I completed a BSc (Hons) degree in Applied Psychology in 2015, where I was awarded the BPS Undergraduate award and gained an MSc degree in Psychological Research Methods in 2016.

I am looking forward to representing the views of postgraduate students from BPS Psychology of Education Section. If you have any questions, issues or ideas that you would like me to raise then please do not hesitate to contact me on joseph.mccann@uni.cumbria.ac.uk or follow me on twitter @JJ_McCann. I look forward to hearing from you.
