Kirsten Russell

Hi, I’m Kirsten and I’m the PsyPAG representative for the Scottish Branch.

I’m a second year PhD student at the University of Strathclyde. My current research seeks to enhance understanding regarding the link between sleep problems and self-harm behaviours in adolescents and young adults.

I completed both my undergraduate and masters degrees at the University of Glasgow and before beginning my PhD, I worked as a Research Assistant there within the Sleep Research Group.

I’m looking forward to representing this branch and if you have any ideas or questions, please do get in touch. You can contact me on or through twitter @Kirsten_Russell
