Michael Scott Evans is a PhD student under the direct supervision of Professor Andrew P. Smith, Director at the Centre for Occupational and Health Psychology, Cardiff University. In July 2016, Michael successfully defended his thesis with minor corrections at Newcastle University in the field of Neuroscience and Engineering for the degree of Master of Philosophy. Prior to this, in 2010 he graduated from the University of Wales, Swansea with a Master of Science Degree (Distinction) in Research Methods in Psychology. Before that, in 2008 he graduated from Brighton University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree (First Class Honours). His current research focuses on developing objective measures of stress and fatigue in train crew.
