Natasha Dalton

Hi! My name is Natasha, and I am a first-year PhD researcher at Ulster University. I completed my BSc Psychology (Hons) and MSc at Queen’s University Belfast in 2014. I worked as a secondary science teacher until beginning my PhD. Working as a teacher definitely inspired me to choose a developmental psychology PhD.

My research focuses on attachment theory and how attachment can have a profound effect on an individual’s life. In particular, I am interested in attachment in adoptees and care-experienced adults.

I am very excited to be the new Northern Ireland branch rep, and I am keen to ensure the voices of NI postgraduates are heard and represented on the PsyPag committee. I would love to hear from you, if you have any suggestions or queries, please contact me via or find me on twitter @NatashaDalton_
