I started my PhD at Plymouth University in 2016, having completed
degrees in Psychological Research Methods (MSc, University of Exeter,
2015), and Psychology (BSc, The Open University, 2014). I began
studying psychology alongside a career in software development, and I
also have BSc and MSc degrees in computing and information systems.
My PhD research is investigating the cognitive effects and mechanisms
of meditation and mindfulness. This topic is influenced by Buddhist
psychology, and contemplative neuroscience. My initial experiments
are examining the effects of mindfulness meditation on craving.
As the Transpersonal Psychology Section representative, I aim to do my
very best in supporting the interests of PsyPAG members. Do contact
me (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you think I can be of help.
