PsyPAG conference 2010
This year’s conference was held in July at Sheffield Hallam University, with accommodation at the Edge student village, on the University of Sheffield’s campus. Many thanks and congratulations to the conference team, who put together a fantastic event for us. We heard keynote speeches from Catriona Morrison (who talked about internet addiction, sparking some interesting debate about the nature of online friendships), Chris Armitage (who tackled the psychologist’s toolbox, bringing together applied and health psychology with a view to making genuine changes in policy), and Robin Dunbar (who showed us that facebook makes monkeys of us all!). But perhaps more importantly, we had a wide variety of fantastic talks and posters, presented by psychology postgraduates from around the UK (and beyond!). A huge thank you to everyone who presented.
You can see abstracts from the keynote speakers and from our conference award winners here.
