The Quarterly

The PsyPAG Publication…

The Quarterly is a developing journal, shaped by each editorial team. The Quarterly is distributed free to all psychology post grads in the UK. Obviously this means that it hits a wide readership and should aim to cover a wide range of topics to make it a valuable resource for all post grads.

Quarterly accepts articles on all areas of psychology, book reviews, conference reviews, humorous items, advertisements from other psychological organisations and more.

What is the PsyPAG Quarterly?

The PsyPAG Quarterly is a student led publication which is produced four times a year and delivered free to all psychology postgraduates in the UK. We aim to provide a voice for all psychology postgraduates and therefore encourage contributions related to all areas of psychology.

What can the Quarterly do for you?

Publishing in the Quarterly adds to your publication record and CV, helps you engage with the wider academic community and provides experience with the publication process and peer review.

What can you do for the Quarterly?

We are interested in receiving contributions from all areas of psychology. We publish a variety of articles, including:

  • Book Reviews
  • Conference Reviews
  • Departmental Reviews
  • Interviews
  • Discussion Pieces
  • Hints and Tips
  • Special Issues
  • Professional response to research/news

We would love to hear about your research but understand you need to keep your results for future publication. However, if a problem arose and you had to find a solution, we would be interested in hearing about your experience.

Contributions should be written in a concise, accessible, academic style, aimed at a broad-based postgraduate psychology audience. References must be in APA format. Articles should be between 1000-2000 words in length.

If you have an idea for an article or feature and would like to discuss it with the editing team then please email quarterly@psypag.co.uk.

You can find a submission guide here, and you can submit an article online here.

If your department does not currently receive issues of Quarterly please contact info@psypag.co.uk and we can arrange for copies to be sent to you.
